Bobak Bakhtiari is a california stage actor and a drama teacher at Saint Mathews Episcopal Day School, in addition to facilitating performance workshops at School Of The Arts in San Francisco. He has a background in Religious Studies, Neuropsychology, and Performance Studies, with a BA from Bowdoin College, and training from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. In the past he has worked as a Clinical Activity Director in a sub-acute Mental Health Rehabilitation setting, developing and facilitating drama therapy and fitness programs, in addition to Anger Management and Nicotine Cessation. He was appointed a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in 2003. Bakhtiari has past experience managing Shell Oil service stations and establishing a socially responsible model for petroleum marketing. He was also a mailman in western Ireland for a period during the Bush Jr. Administration.
Bakhtiari can be seen in the recent National Geographic film “Inside Saddam’s Interrogation“, and the docudrama “I ran Iran.”
